Makna

• The word WATI is used to show sexual intercourse but it's original meaning is 'to crush' and the Arabs took the meaning of crushing in the sense that the man crushes the woman when he is on top of her during sex and used the word to denote sex.

This is how i came to memorize the Asma ul-Husna. Heard it on telly ever since i was a wee lass ;p. They've stopped airing it during my late primary school life and has never been played since then; i wonder why.

Due to the limitations of the current version of Word i'm using, i'm unable to enclose the numbers in the Arabic End of Ayah. Thanks to Ms Harrison of NRSI and her colleagues for all the help.

In he pic i've used Ornate Left/Right Parenthesis instead. Currently i'm using Microsoft Word 2003 on Windows XP Home SP2. There shouldn't be any problem for Word 2007.

If you have noticed the term 'kami' (we/us) in the translation above, you might be wondering why it is not 'aku/saya' (me/I). Because when breaking fast, many people are present at the table to share the meal, so it acceptable to include everyone in the prayer.

It has been announced officially that Muslims in Malaysia will start fasting this Thursday, 13 September 2007M, 1 Ramadan 1428H :D Tomorrow night can start teraweh!
