I don't know the exact location on the map because there are no signboards or landmarks on the real route. It was also outside of my knowledge to lookup the location in Nokia Maps; the knowledge of which came after the trip :(

Even though it looks like tilt-shift (see also miniature faking), there are no camera effects in Pic 2; in fact, no effect was intended. The camera was in Sport Spectator mode, i was in a moving car going downhill (from Ringlet to Kampung Batu Sebelas, see Map 1), and the curb on either side of the road is too narrow to stop safely.

Contain the sugar, expel the ants

I need a worthy container to store sugar. The container must be easy to open and close without any hassle. A screw-on lid isn't suitable as some people don't bother to spend a few extra seconds to properly screw the lid on; they just place the lid on the container, just like that. An open container loaded with sugar is an open invitation to all ants to a sugar rush fiesta. Even if they did screw it on nicely, at times, Murphy's Law shamelessly kicks in. A pop-on lid makes no difference either. That brings the attention to my second characteristic requirement – keeps ants out, totally. A container that encourages people subconsciously to close it properly rather than force people to do it, is an evolution in design. A transparent glass jar with a metal lid is straightaway safe within the desirable range.

Why so particular? Well, if I wanted a jar of ants, I'd might as well go outside and dig them up; fresh from the ground! So, if I want sugar – that means – I WANT SUGAR! No ants, please.

The Dead Cat

A cat that loves to purr doesn’t catch mice; the saying goes. Neither does a dead cat.

The news of death instantly stuns consciousness to a standstill. Its momentum freezes everything. Blood flushes out from the head, following the force of gravity. Disbelief -- a self-created shield reflects the momentum. Denial -- an absorbent to dampen oscillation in Disbelief.

Outside, the stunned’s awareness seems lost in space. Motion is paralyzed. Mind is in coma.

The heart grows hollow; the contents drawn into a black hole. A painful void sums up inside the chest, alternately appears and disappears at intervals before agonizing ripping.

The void and ripping reiterate as memories of the lost loved ones flicker. Indescribable agony substitutes the lost.

I can feel your lost. Care to feel mine?

Ignorance is bliss; some say. Can it be ignored?

A lazy cat won’t even catch a dead mouse; the saying goes.

You don’t care to feel my lost. Are you lazy? Or are you dead?

i don't actually know how to write a haiku but gave it a try anyway. The result: Pic 1 is my first haiku *i think it's my first ;p*
