i don't actually know how to write a haiku but gave it a try anyway. The result: Pic 1 is my first haiku *i think it's my first ;p*

This is how i came to memorize the Asma ul-Husna. Heard it on telly ever since i was a wee lass ;p. They've stopped airing it during my late primary school life and has never been played since then; i wonder why.

Hey, Naziha! You'd never know what i found! Remember this (see Pic 1)?

i think it was written in 1998 for the school's yearbook, Ceria! i can't remember how i got to keep it.

Found it somewhere between the slips of paper in the cover of this wrapping (se Pic 2) of this small, very valuable notebeook (see Pic 3) :D The notebook is something new, started in 2000 so i don't think you've ever seen it. The funny things is, i've had this notebook around until now but it's yet to be filled up! Got moderately lots of pages with empty unwritten horizontal lines ;p

The little primary school girl (in white baju kurung and navy blue kain) disboards the yellow school bus. The rain is pouring. Her mum makes her a glass of milk. *Something like that*

Due to the limitations of the current version of Word i'm using, i'm unable to enclose the numbers in the Arabic End of Ayah. Thanks to Ms Harrison of NRSI and her colleagues for all the help.

In he pic i've used Ornate Left/Right Parenthesis instead. Currently i'm using Microsoft Word 2003 on Windows XP Home SP2. There shouldn't be any problem for Word 2007.

It's a modern-day nasyid minus the sloppy-mushy lyrics! Pronunciation a bit unclear -- stop swallowing your words! Say it out loud and with confidence! Don't gurgle your words! Am no linguist nor speech specialist but i've heard better vocals and pronunciations than this.

Wonder how better Aris's Rock Kapak day's vocals will improve this one. The tune seems kinda familiar but yet able to put a finger on it.

This track was popular when i was somewhere in primary school, circa 1991~1996. The videoclip was shot on stage to what seemed to belong to RTM (Radio Televisyen Malaysia). Twas the only hit by this vocalist. When the popularity of the song went downhill, the name seemed to fade away as well.

This time, it's Mr Rambo's turn to get a song. *Hey~!* This one's yours ;p

If you have noticed the term 'kami' (we/us) in the translation above, you might be wondering why it is not 'aku/saya' (me/I). Because when breaking fast, many people are present at the table to share the meal, so it acceptable to include everyone in the prayer.

It has been announced officially that Muslims in Malaysia will start fasting this Thursday, 13 September 2007M, 1 Ramadan 1428H :D Tomorrow night can start teraweh!

BUMIPUTERA ROCKERS (BPR) - Putera dan Bumi Malay

This was my theme song back in 2003/2004 when i rented one of the flat house on the ground floor. Reminds me when i used to rise the volume to the max ;p and blast out my vocal chords every morning before going to class *ha~ha!* The house next door was inhabited (twas turned into a storehouse) and since i was the end house, my vocal radiation only managed to contaminate the Chinese family upstairs and people passing-by outside ;p *Those were the days!*

Gulaley.. What does it mean, eh?!

Gulaley

is the Kelantanese/Terengganuian term for 'candy floss/cotton candy' (English) or 'gula kapas' (Malay). It's good to take note that it is impossible to store the Kelantanese/Terengganuian dialect in written form. No matter how you or any linguists try to write Kelantanse/Terengganuian words, the pronunciation will never come out right. So it's best you grab a nearby Kelantanese/Terengganuian and force him/her to say the words you want to hear :p

Thus the spelling 'gulaley' is not sure to be correct since it can also be spelled as 'gulale' or 'gulalei' or 'gulalir' -- so how come i chose this spelling over the others? Simple, nobody has yet to register with this username (gulalir is still available!) and plus the fact that i'm a bag of lazy bones to type/remember either long names or names with numbers :p

What's with the 'Kelantanese/Terengganuian'?
i dunno which state's dialect the word originates from. So as to stay on the safe side and jaga perasaan (look-after the feelings) people from these states (Kelantan/Terengganu), that's why i wrote it as so. Anybody knows? i'm too lazy to check the word in Kamus Dewan (the official Malay-Malay dictionary) or Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka online.

By the way, i'm from neither states.. i'm a Malaccan *nyah~ha~ha!* :p
